Scooby Dooby Doo

What's up readers !

Welcome to another Unboxing Sunday from The Loot Chest.

As we enter to a new year, we would like to experiment on a different platform to reach all collectors out there so we have decided to add a YouTube channel for our Unboxing Sunday. We are still new to filming & making videos so do forgive us if our videos of Unboxing Sunday are not as good as other review videos that you have watched. With this being said, we will do a week of Unboxing Sunday through our YouTube channel while the following week will be through our blog post & it will be back to our blog again. For now, we will be alternating writing on our blog once every fortnight and posting a video once every fortnight.

Check out last week video of our Unboxing Sunday:

Scooby scooby-doo, where are you?

Anyone of you guessed the line above?

Here, let us reminiscence a classic animation series that we are pretty sure most of you have watched an episode or two.

It's scooby dooby dooooooooooo..

In the middle of September last year, Funko announced that vinyl figures of Scooby-Doo under Pop! Animation will be release in Fall 2016. There are 5 regular pop! of the main characters which are Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy & Scooby where else a flocked Scooby is only available at Gemini Collectibles as well as a 2 pack Scooby & Shaggy which is exclusively at FYE. Now that we have the 5 regular pops, let's start unboxing these babies.

First of all under the Pop! Animation category numbered at 149 is Scooby-Doo himself. The design of Scooby-Doo looks like a pup instead of the adult Great Dane like you have watched during the 90's or earlier since this animation has been around since the late 60's/early 70's. Scooby-Doo looks more like he was in one of their animated series "A Pup Named Scooby-Doo" which aired from the late 80's until the early 90's where it features the characters as children. The initials of SD at Scooby-Doo's dog collar can be seen on this vinyl figure.

When there is Scooby-Doo, Shaggy will definitely be somewhere near him as the dynamic duo has got similar personalities of being coward as well as always being hungry. Numbered at 150 under the Pop! Animation category, we present you Shaggy where this vinyl figure is holding some Scooby Snacks.

Next up will be the highly intelligent Velma. In the series, Velma has always been portrayed as an intelligent lady who has a high interest in science. Apart from that, she often loose her glasses in the series & will always mention this catchphrase: "My glasses! I can't see without my glasses!" where she ends up searching for her lost glasses without being able to see properly. Funko Pop! Velma is numbered at 151 & can be seen with her large glasses & magnifier. The Velma pop comes with a clear stand as she can't stand by herself.

At number 152, Daphne is right here! With the nick name of danger prone Daphne, she is sporting her usual appearance of a purple mini dress, purple shoes & a green scarf with her purple headband. The Daphne pop also comes with a clear stand but she is able to stand by herself. Now, where is Daphne's love interest, Fred?

Here he is! Numbered at 153, Fred Jones, one of the main characters who usually takes the lead in solving mysteries can be seen with his classic white shirt & blue jeans

Now that we have the gang all together, that's all we have for you this week folks!
